Your Story In Pictures
As a passionate and experienced photographer, I specialize in capturing people in their natural environment, ensuring each photograph tells a genuine and heartfelt story.
I have been drawn to photography for as long as I can remember. Throughout the years, I have developed different styles and techniques, eventually leading to favouritism for portraits and content creation.
We had a really nice shoot spread over two days and two locations ( dunes and beach). This worked out perfectly since I'm already over 38 weeks pregnant, and it would have been too exhausting for me otherwise! Additionally, there was no time pressure or stress, and we experienced this as super relaxed and positive.
All our wishes and expectations were greatly exceeded, and the communication was also very friendly and pleasant. We received all the fully edited photos within a few days, much faster than we had expected, and with an incredible amount of choice among all the photos (over 200 pieces).
We will definitely do a newborn shoot with Idalien when our son is born! Thank you so much, and see you soon!

As a holistic therapist, I host silent retreats on the beautiful island of Terschelling. I had asked Idalien to capture the vibe and essence of one of the Petit Island Retreats in pictures. It was not an easy request since we needed to ensure the participants weren't identifiable. Due to the weather, the ceremony was captured inside. Closed curtains, the space was dimly lit, and photography had to be done in complete silence.
​
But Idalien totally nailed it during the cacao/grieve-loss meditation. She became one with the group, blended in the energy in silence and discreetly snapped the softest shots. After the ceremony she made me some awesome portraits. No makeup, just natural light, and she still captured that retreat glow perfectly.

Aside from her stunning images, Idalien is simply a wonderful and genuine person. She works efficiently and intuitively understands your needs.
